A trip to Gąski lets you combine a seaside walk with a visit to the lighthouse. If you like seeing places from a different perspective, plan a climb up the tower. The area around the lighthouse can also be the goal of a shorter family trip.
A view you have to climb up to
Visiting the tower involves climbing stairs. Bear this in mind if you're travelling with small children or with someone for whom the climb may be too demanding. We do not consider the lighthouse to be a barrier-free attraction.
Check whether you can visit first
There is a charge to climb the tower, and current opening hours and access should be confirmed before you set off. In good visibility the views will be an important part of the visit; in poorer weather it's better to keep your plan flexible. You can combine the trip with a walk around Gąski.
What should you bear in mind?
- Wear comfortable shoes suitable for stairs.
- Before you set off, check the opening hours and whether you can currently climb the tower.
- For those who aren't climbing the tower, plan a rest at the bottom.
