A bike lets you see the area differently from a car journey. From Sarbinowo you can plan rides towards the neighbouring villages using current route maps. The best plan is one that takes into account the youngest or least experienced person in the group.
Start with the map, not the number of kilometres
The Velo Baltica route runs through Mielno municipality, and the area around Sarbinowo links up with a network of coastal routes. Before you set off, check the route of the specific section, the surface and the places where the route runs along a road. We do not give all sections the same level of difficulty.
Save energy for the way back
With children it is better to choose a shorter option and plan a break. Bear in mind the wind, which can make riding easier one way and harder on the way back. The map below helps you set a direction towards Chłopy; it does not replace the official route of the trail or an assessment of its conditions.
What should you bear in mind?
- Check the municipality’s current route map and the signs on site.
- Bring water and equipment suitable for the ride.
- Confirm the availability of local bike hire before your ride.
