Children love a walk where something happens. On the Leśna Pętla (Forest Loop) in Mielno, the highlights are nature and history curiosities, unusual figures and the next sections of the trail. It's a change from the beach without giving up time in the fresh air.
Nature meets history
The trail runs through a coastal forest with old dunes. Along the way you will find, among other things, old hill forts, bunkers and distinctive pine-cone figures. It is worth taking the trail map so you do not miss the points that will interest your group most.
Follow the marked trail
You can plan to start from ul. Kościelna or ul. 1 Maja. The forest lies in a protected landscape area, so please stay on the marked route. After rain, bear in mind the forest surface and do not assume the whole route will suit every pushchair or wheelchair.
What should you bear in mind?
- Download the trail map from the tourist information centre.
- Plan breaks rather than rushing from point to point.
- Do not enter closed-off structures or leave the marked route.
