The smell of fresh bread can become as strong a holiday memory as the sight of the sea. Skansen Chleba (Bread Museum) in Ustronie Morskie introduces traditional baking and the objects connected with it. You can treat the visit as a shorter stop on a trip or plan an organised activity.
See the journey from grain to bread
On site you can see objects from old-time baking, and traditional baking remains an important part of what is offered. It is a chance to talk with children about where everyday bread comes from and how a baker’s work has changed.
Confirm workshops in advance
To bake something yourself or take part in other activities, check the programme and booking. Do not treat workshops as an automatic part of every visit. Arrange the date and details directly with the Skansen.
What should you bear in mind?
- Check activity availability for your group.
- Ask the organiser about dietary matters if they are important to you.
- Confirm the entrance address and directions in the Skansen’s current information.
